Barn Dance and Silent Auction:  This event doubles as a social event and a fundraiser.  We are looking for donations for the silent auction.  Donations can be just about anything, either goods or services.  We've had some very creative ideas including selling entertainment packages-- even picnics to go!

Cleaning in August.  We have the opportunity to become a cleaning company for two weeks and do move-out-move-in cleanings for a local realty company.  This is a rare opportunity for family, even kids, to work together to earn some field trip money.  These opportunities don't come around very often, so try not to miss this one if field trip money is important to you!  Laura Chuba and Karen Cattell will be working together to schedule the work.  We will send out email information in July.

Pizza lunches on Tuesdays:  This year we actually earned some money selling pizza to ourselves, besides getting a break from packing lunches.  There is interest in keeping this going in the fall, but we need someone willing to take orders at 9:00 and do the pick-up at 11:45.

Box Tops for Education:  SFEA is registered to be able to collect the Box Tops  found on all General Mills cereals, as well as other products related to General Mills (some types of granola bars, snack mixes, soups)  Clip your box tops and put them in the collections boxes at Park Forest Baptist or Grace Pres. Church.

Giant grocery stores:  SFEA is registered as a school you can donate to when you shop at Giant.  We have forms with our official number of them.  When you use your Giant card, one percent of your total goes right to SFEA.  See Megan Layng for details.  (We will put out more information about this in September.)

Don't forget that SFEA always take donations and they are tax-deductible.  We are a 501(c)3 organization, which means you can claim all donations on your tax returns
